Safety, Health and Environment Advisory


HSE management involves the functions of planning, identifying problem areas, coordinating and controlling activities in the farm, all aimed at  prevention of accidents, ill health and harm to   environment and general agro eco system. Therefore safety and health management must cover all production and post harvest value chain operations. Management of safety, health and environment means applying safety measures in all farm operations, training’s and any other farm activity before accidents do happen. Extension workers are trained to equip farmers with this information and management of emergencies in case they do arise.
