Transformation for Rural Development (TRAFORD) is a private limited organisation that was incorporated by the government of Uganda in April,2016.
TRAFORD advocates, advises and promotes agriculture innovations with special emphasis on Climate Smart Agriculture for cereals, pulses and oil crops. Through this, Transformation for rural development limited is dedicated to poverty eradication through innovations that sustain household incomes and food security; improving the health and welfare of communities through capacity building trainings such as climate smart agriculture extension, farm entrepreneurship,post harvest handling,produce marketing,life skills ,capacity building in form of building farmer networks and associations that are easy to work with.

Farmers are trained in farm record keeping that facilitate them in tracking their farm expenses, sales and making a final decision on whether their farming enterprises are profitable or not.
Marketing & Post Harvest Handling Services

of produce is a contributing factor in high losses encored to farmers. This includes produce drying, cleaning, sorting, packaging, transportation, processing, storage and marketing.
